i have heard it said that the one thing we can count on is that things change. and, boy, is that true.
dad's appointment for today has been cancelled, so his radiation treatments and chemotherapy will begin tomorrow.

I'm so sorry to hear this Megan. My mom was diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic breast cancer last year after never missing a mammogram in her life. They didn't see the tumor until it had already spread to some of her lymph nodes and spine. She's gone through chemo and had a masectomy during this last year and it's been quite a roller coaster. They can do amazing things with medicine and all the new research that is constantly going on. Right now my mom is going through radiation and has a good prognosis. I'll be keeping you guys in my thoughts and prayers.
