This morning my dad was admitted to UCSD Hospital with a fever. The doctors suspect pneumonia but we will know more later. Along with other complications such as severely low white cells, he will be in the hospital for a bit. We thank you all for your continued love and prayers.

I am sorry to hear you are going to be in the hospital for a bit. My family prays for you all daily!
Lots of prayers and aloha from Hawaii. Your name is in the Hawaii temple.
Names are in the Accra temple, and these saints can pray like nobody else! We think of you daily with much love. The older we get, we find that our friends ARE our family, and we are all going through these trials with you...you are never alone. We love you. Heids
i remember being interviewed by President Holladay when he was my Bishop. I was 8 years old. He asked me if I was ready to be baptized. I told him I was, but I had one final question for him: "what do they mean when they say that Jesus died for our sins?"
Easy enough, right? It was for him. For the next few minutes he sat and explained the Atonement to me in a way that my simple, 8-year-old mind could comprehend. I finally understood. The time and care he took to share this profound and important concept with me was one of the most important learning experiences of my life. It also taught me something else of equal importance- don't over complicate the Gospel! The message you shared with me is a foundation of the testimony i still carry today. The Atonement is a profound truth that is simple enough for a child to understand.
What a great man you are! Thank you for sharing your time with me, all those years ago. I love you for it, and will be praying for you along with my family.
Love, Kelly Jo Eddy (Kindred)
